The original G3VM was 1st issued to Fred Fisher in the late 1930’s. He was active on the air for the best part of his life until he sadly passed away in the 90’s.
As a close friend of the family Dan has honoured when asked to take on the G3VM historic call sign and have it re-issued in his name.
Not only was this a fantastic and rare opportunity but its also a great conversational piece.
